ICU Ward

The ward has sophisticated medical equipment that care for critically ill patients at a more intensive level than is needed by other patients. Staffed by specialised personnel, the intensive care unit contains a complex assortment of monitors and life-support equipment that can sustain life in once-fatal situations.

These 23 beds MICU is a Multi Specialty Intensive Care Unit that caterers for adult and surgical patients.

Surgery:

All major post surgery patients are admitted to ICU for further management and stabilization. The following faculties are catered for in MICU post operatively; Cardiothoracic, General surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Spinal surgery, Urology, Complicated Gynaecological and Obstetric surgery, Vascular surgery e.t.c.

Visiting Procedures are as follows:

  • Children under 13 years are not allowed in ICU.
  • Only close relatives are allowed to visit.
  • Fresh flowers and cell phones are not allowed.

Visiting hours are as follows:

11H00 – 11H30
15H00 – 16H00
19H00 – 20H00
